My piece, Dawn, aims to highlight the harmony between masajid and islamic gardens as they are places where we engage in the remembrance of Allah and appreciate His creation. They both have a unique liminal quality that evokes the sense of belonging for everyone, and a timelessness that allows us to exist in that space seemingly for eternity. These places are filled with connection, between one and Allah, and all of creation together.
